Festival in the Shire, August 2010.

I'll be exibiting my Tolkien Work in August at the Festival in the Shire, a huge Tolkien event talking place at Pafiliwn Bont, Wales, from the 13th to the 15th August, 2010.

From the Festival Site: This will be the most comprehensive event ever held for the fans of J.R.R. Tolkien, with a conference, a fan exposition of original art, rare books and memorabilia as well as a large festival with stalls and entertainment.

As well as the originals, which you can see at the exhibition, there will be prints available in the Festival Shop, including Tom looks through the Ring (above), which I've finally got around to making giclées of! There will be many more Tolkien inspired artists at the event, as you can see here.

New Photographic Prints

I've added a new area to Galley Hill Art and am now offering photography giclee prints. Like the art prints, they are created with lightfast inks on heavyweight archival 100% cotton Hahnemuhler fine-art paper. Each matt print is signed by the artist and is part of a limited edition. These are more durable than photographic prints which fade quicker. I'm hoping to steadily add to these over the coming months.

Latest b Gallery News

A large selection of my paintings are now on exhibition at the b Gallery, Toddington.

You'll find b Gallery at the Old Town Hall, Market Square, Toddington, Beds LU5 6QJ (just of J12 of the M1). This is a lovely old building which sets off the wide range of artwork on display there beautifully.
